Yesterday …

… on the anniversary of the introduction of decimal currency in Australia, a.k.a.¬ St Valentine’s Day,¬ I was treated to a long-stemmed red rose from my chiropractor, a dinner cooked by our male housemate, and a few glasses of a very nice red wine.

In other recent events, I went to Wilson’s Prom on the weekend for a 2-night stay with other friends who are camping down there. I foolishly allowed myself to get¬ a bit burnt, purely through laziness. Aside from that, the weekend was incident free and¬ loads of relaxing fun.

The wife of one of my colleagues had a baby last Saturday, and they are now the proud parents of a little girl – Natasha Minchin. Welcome to the world, Natasha! The History department’s newest and youngest historian!
