Coffee & muffin break

After a few frantic days at work triple — even quadruple — checking students’ marks for semester one and uploading them and chasing signatures and lots of other fun things, I can finally [almost] breathe a sigh of relief that the task is over. There is just one more unit to go, and that is one for some itnernational students who come over from America to do some History and Archaeology units in our semester break. That will hopefully be signed-off and delivered to someone else’s desk by the end of the day today. For now, at least, someone else is beavering away on it and it has not been passed my way.

So, I’m sitting here eating a chocolate muffin (v. naughty at this time of the day!) and drinking a real coffee with my brain switched to “OFF” for a moment … oh rats, the phone is ringing … let’s see if I can have a conversation …

Nope. Had to end up switching my brain back on – had to speak to someone about this problem, which has not yet been satisfactorily resolved. Back to it then … groan.
